Facility Rules:
• Pay before you play.
• Playing and viewing are at your own risk.
• Display good sportsmanship. Always respect the game, players, coaches and officials.
• Fighting or inappropriate language will not be tolerated and will lead to dismissal from the facility.
• No drugs or alcohol permitted.
• No pets allowed.
• No gum or chewing tobacco is allowed in the facility.
• Respect the facility. Please pick up after yourself.
• Spectators are expected to remain positive and cheer in a positive manner.
• No personal soccer balls during practice, league or tournament play.
• No ball playing of any kind will be permitted in the lobby, bathrooms or in the parking lot.
• No running is permitted in the facility except on the playing fields.
• No use of any roller sneakers, roller skates, or skateboards will be permitted inside the facility.

Any violations of these rules may result in removal and/or suspension from the facility.

Maryland Sportsplex Policies:
Leagues, Clinics and Camps
If the league, clinic or camp is full or doesn’t happen due to low enrollment, the Maryland Sportsplex will refund your money.  Once the clinic or league begins and 1 session, class or game has been attended, no refunds will be given.  Any refund requested prior to the start of the first game, session or class is subject to a 25% cancellation fee.  All refund requests must be submitted by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  All customers receiving refunds will have a check mailed to their address within 4 weeks of the date of refund request.

Inclement Weather:
There will be no rescheduling of games due to weather related events like snow.   The facility may, at its own choosing, try to reschedule those games.  In the event of weather related cancellation, all games that were missed shall not count toward the standings and they will be considered “non-games”.

Rental Policy:
1. User agrees to abide by and obey all Maryland Sportsplex rules and regulations
2. Management has the right to dismiss (without refund) anyone refusing to adhere to the rules of the              Maryland Sportsplex.   Anyone who interferes intentionally with any competition or training of others will be dismissed.
3. Rental Rates are for individual activities or practice times for teams. It is prohibited to rent practice fields and run tournaments, camps, clinics or leagues without the specific permission of management. Prices will vary for these activities. Please call the facility for prices and availability at 410-729-0694.

No discounts aside from what is listed will be given.

5. If you rent four (4) hours or less, a deposit of 50% of the full bill is required at the time of the rental.  If you rent more than four (4) hours, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required, with full payment owed at the time of the first rental.  If you have a long-term rental that spans several months, you may opt to pay each month separately at the beginning of the month.  This must be stated in writing by you at the execution of your contract.  If your rental contract does not exceed two months, full payment is due at the time of the first rental.  If payment is not received at the due date, a $50 fine may be assessed and your rental contract can be terminated.
6. Cancellation Policy:
a. All payments, including deposits are non-refundable
b. Customers will be responsible for payment of reserved rental time in the agreed upon payment schedule or risk the loss of the reserved dates.  The facility has the right to resell any unpaid reservations.
c. If the facility is closed for any reason, customer shall receive a facility credit toward a future rental date. If no dates are available, customer shall receive a refund for only those dates in which the facility was closed.
7. Rentals can be scheduled on the hour or half hour. Rental must for a minimum of one hour in length.
8. Please be courteous to others. When your time is completed, promptly leave the court or field of play so that the next rental can use the field.  It is the responsibility of the customer to end their rental at the allotted time.  Anyone who continues to practice or play after their time has been completed will be billed and may forfeit their rights to future rentals at the Maryland Sportsplex.
9. Players shall play at their own risk.
10. Maryland Sportsplex reserves the right to refuse play or service to anyone.

Futsal House Rules:
• Individuals utilizing this facility do so at their own risk.  The property owner, league operators, officers and owners and staff of Maryland Sportsplex assume no liability for any injury which may occur
• Conduct within the facility and on the courts/field should be conducted in the spirit of good sportsmanship
• No food, chewing tobacco, chewing gum, and cleats are permitted on the playing surface. Sunflower seeds are not permitted in the facility.
• No glass containers are permitted on the courts or field at any time.
• Games that are cancelled due to poor weather conditions or conditions not under the control of the Maryland Sportsplex are generally not rescheduled or guaranteed to be played.
• Maryland Sportsplex reserves the right to refuse play or service to anyone.
• Fighting will result in a permanent banishment from the Maryland Sportsplex.
• All players are required to wear shinguards
• Maryland Sportsplex reserves the right to excuse any player, coach or spectator for unsportsmanlike conduct and no refund will be given.
• Youth teams (U8-U19 teams) must have a coach/parent on the bench at all times during the game. Teams without a coach/parent on the bench will forfeit the game.

Equipment:
• All players are required to wear shinguards.
• All players are required to have a permanent number on their shirt at least 4” long. Taped on jerseys are not permanent.
• Futsal shoes, tennis shoes and indoor soccer shoes are permitted on the courts.  Cleats and rubber molded turf shoes are not permitted on the hard courts.

Schedules:
• There will be no rescheduling of games. Teams are allowed to request one date as a bye week in their schedule prior to the start of the season.  The request must be made in email form and must be sent to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. • All schedules will be posted at least 1 week before the start of the session.

Forfeits:
• Team managers must call the Maryland Sportsplex to inform them of the forfeit.  Maryland Sportsplex management will then contact the coach of the opposing team to inform them of the forfeit.
• Any team that doesn’t show up for a game will owe a $30 forfeit fee to the Maryland Sportsplex.
• If a team shows up to play and the opposing team does not show up, then the team present will win by forfeit.
• Forfeiture will be incurred if a team has failed to field the minimum number of players (5 player minimum) within 5 minutes after the scheduled start of the game.
• Any forfeit will result in a 3-0 victory for the opposing team.

Red Card Policy:
• The Maryland Sportsplex has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY toward fighting.  Anyone fighting will be ejected and they will be banned from the Maryland Sportsplex permanently.
• A player or coach that is red carded during or after a game by a referee will be forced to miss the remainder of the game and will not be allowed to participate in the next scheduled game.
• A player or coach red carded for the offense of violent conduct (including but not limited to: spitting, threatening, continued rough play, etc.) will be suspended for 2 games and will be subject to further disciplinary action as decided by facility management.
• A player or coach red carded for assaulting an official will automatically be suspended indefinitely from the Maryland Sportsplex.
• If a player or coach receives a second red card in the same season, that player or coach will be removed from the league for the remainder of that session.
